Transcript for "Meet a Master of the CCPI Galaxy": Hi. My name is Matt Knochelman, and I am a team lead here with ConstructConnect. Welcome to our, Bid Like Boss series master of the CCPI Galaxy. Happy happy May 4, everyone. Few reminders before we get started. So we recommend using the full screen mode in the bottom right hand corner to view the presentation better. The lines are muted, but you can use the session chat to ask any questions. So definitely feel free to ask any questions that you have. The webinar is being recorded and will be available on this page after the event. There are your presenters there. It's me, Matt Nachelman, and then, Jessica Cymbala is gonna be actually walking us through the ConstructConnect platform. And then some of the things we're gonna be going over here, we're gonna be identifying relevant bid opportunities, managing prod managing projects using bid center, tracking projects and companies, and then also, integration with CCBM, which is ConstructConnect bid management or bid management product. So I will go ahead and turn things over to Jessica now. Stop sharing my screen, and Jessica can, take it from here. And you're muted, Jessica, to let you know. Love it. Awesome. Thank you so much, Matt. That. was all the picture. I am so glad to have you all with us today. Happy fourth, May the fourth be with you. I'm gonna share most things for you guys. Alright. Can you see that okay? I don't see it yet. It looks like it started sharing it maybe. Okay. I see it now. Yep. Alright. Awesome. Thank you so much. Alright. So to go ahead and get started, the first thing we're gonna cover is identifying bid opportunities, that are relevant to you. So there's a couple ways to do that. So you can do searches inside inside the entire system, And then you can also set up yourself to, be advertised to Ology Seed on network. So, first of all, let's start off with identifying good opportunities that are relevant to you. So there's, we're gonna go and do a search. If you just click on your little search button over here, that'll pull up your search tab. And then I've got several same searches over here, so I can just click on any one of them. So right there, for example, I've got multifamily California bidding jobs in the next thirty days. So I could just go off of there. I can see what filters are on this safe search. I have keywords, townhome, or apartment, and it's been updated in the last thirty days, and it's gonna be big in the next thirty days. It's in California in these statuses. So I could either just work from there and go like this and, change different things or say, hey. I really want these certain things, or I could just come over here and start a brand new search. So let's do that. Let's start a brand new search together. And, with this new search, let's narrow it down a little bit. So right now, we've got everything by default. When you start a new search, it's going to filter by things that have only been updated in the last ninety days. That way, it's going to help you get rid of those old jobs that have been, that are not being worked on and have been left behind. So this way, you'll come in and you could say, hey. I wanna know things that are gonna be bidding in, let's say, the next thirty days. We wanna know project status. So these are in the fitting status. And I think it's gonna say people's section, appreciated. Oh, excuse me, I accidentally checked all of those. Alright. And then we wanna do project location and project type. So you could do a couple different things. So we'll just go with, say, countries, and you can go into here, and you can go down and specify certain areas. You can even do it by state. So, like, if I wanted to do all of Texas, you can see, like, I click it, it checks everything. And then I can come in here and say maybe I'm not doing Austin. Like, if we accept Austin, I can uncheck it. And then, if you scroll, you can see it's not, scroll up. There you go. So you can see it got all set down here unchecked a little bit. You can check it back and it'll come right in. So same type of thing. You could also go, hey. I would wanna know things that are within so many distance or so many miles to pay, to a certain area if you would prefer. And then you could go into project categories so you could say, hey. I only wanna know, you know, we specialize maybe in roads and highways, so I just wanna know the roads and highways that are bidding in the next thirty days. And that'll pull up a nice list there for me right there. Or maybe we'd wanna do, things that are saved. So we can check those and things that are, like, commercial. And you can come in here and you can choose. You could be like, okay. We can make it very granular. These are the text things I like to work on. And you can as you check and uncheck things, the last time here, it's going to be thinking about things. So let's say we do educational and it updates it immediately. So whatever you're seeing right here is gonna be exactly what you're looking for. Right? So you could do miracle military and medical, also known as miracles. And then so here's elder, mid care, mid care, residential. So whatever types of things that you get into, you can come down here and be very, very specific on these different things. And then you could also come in here and say if it's, you know, public or private. You can specify your trade. You can come in here and say, you know, maybe just do concrete. And so you can apply that. And same type of thing as I apply that, it's gonna go just look at concrete and items that have concrete in them. And then I could come in here and I could specify the project value just by grabbing this and scrolling back and forth. You can see this number down here change. And then I can maybe if I don't care about anything, but I just wanna know I just wanna know if things actually have the plans and then inspect. Check all these. I want things that have these ones in them. And there we go. Alright. So perfect. And then if I have any keywords or relevant searches, I can put them in here. But right now, I'm gonna save this search right here because this is gonna be my main search for jobs. Texas. Thirty days. Perfect. And then I'm gonna hit save. And you could say, hey. I wanna be updated. I wanna get an email every day about this so I can find certain projects. I also want it to be whenever I'm looking at my job, I want my Texas concrete jobs that come up with a bright purple color so I could use this new one. And then if I want this every time I open up my search job, if I want it to automatically default to this search, which I do, I'm gonna go ahead and hit save. There we go. And now I've successfully saved it. And when I'm looking at any of my other jobs, see how some of them have these little different colored tags. You can have up to five different tags. So that if I'm looking at my concrete and masonry fitting around me, and I see it's also in Texas and concrete fitting in the next thirty days, if it's got both those tags, it's gonna be, like, perfect for me. So, and then you can see those tags right here. So these ones are the ones fitting around me. So these are being in Texas, and these are, like, right around me right there. See? So I've got both those tags already. Now any questions? Let me double check real quick and just see. Nope. Looks like we are all good to go. Alright. So now identifying the jobs and relevant work to me. Now if I wanna go in and look at these, you know, track these jobs, so maybe if I wanna look at this parking edition, I can click on it. I can take a look at the job, and I can add it to my bid center. So maybe I'm gonna put it under review. So that way I can go to my bid center and look at it later. And I can go down here and see all the different, items down here. Now if I have any questions on the job, something I wanna point out, is right here, I can hit project feedback. And this does not go to the actual GST or, architect. This goes to our data team that uploads the project. So if you have any questions about a specific project, you can put in your phone number and what it is. So maybe there is, some type of information or questions you have or you're like, hey. Is this the latest timeline? You can put in this question right here. It comes to our data team, and they will get back to you with an answer. So I just wanted to point that out. A lot of people are familiar about that. Also, if, you wanna be added to the bidder, you can put that in there as well. So, next, we're going to go on if looking at these projects and looking at them inside of our fence center. So, if you wanna add it to your watch list, you can do that right here. Your watch list is basically just a shortcut of all of the different projects in the companies that you wanna keep track of, and then I'll get back to that in a little bit. So first, we're gonna jump over to our bid center because we added this to our bid center. We're gonna pull that little drop down box and say, hey. I'm gonna keep an eye on that. So see, notice when I came to our bid center, we have these different folders right here. So under review project, that's where I actually put that one project we were working on because I wanna make sure here it is. Parking addition project right here. And then I'm gonna put that in my name. Let's see. Just okay. Saint Paul. There we go. So now I can keep an eye on that and things that are assigned to me. I can actually sync them with my calendar. So if I want to things that I'm looking at and I'm like, what do I need to bid on next? I can look at the calendar, and I can look at the different dates. So, right here, we've got a pretty good meeting. On Wednesdays, I'll probably need to get together and take a look at that for the parking lot addition project. So that's probably my next thing I need to work on. But it's nice to take a look at this calendar and all the different jobs that you're looking at. So, for example, like, I only care about the prepaid stuff because that's what I'm trying to get ready for, today, maybe, I'm trying to figure out what I'm gonna bid next. And then, also, if we've got several people at working at my company that do bids jobs, and I just wanna look at the stuff assigned to me, I can come in here and say, I only wanna see if you have stuff assigned to me. Right? So then this is the only stuff assigned to me. But if I, have it for everybody I'm still in part of here. It's the same thing. Maybe I don't care about the steps in one. I can uncheck that. But now that I've got it all pulled up and these are the things that I care about, I'm going to sync this with my Outlook calendar. So I'll just click right here, and I can say Outlook and click sync. Now once you sync this, whatever you have right here, any jobs that you're looking at, if you put into review or bidding or bid sent or what will sync with your calendar. I'm not gonna actually do that, and I'm not getting any full of jobs. I just wanted to point that out to y'all so you can actually stay, up to date with all of the different jobs that you're working on and track data here. Also, right here where we add base little star on it, and we're like, oh, where are those jobs with that one job? You know, what's the date on that one job I'm watching here for your watch list? And go to all projects that you're watching. Oh, question. Is the bid center information private to my company only? Yes. Nobody well, yes and no. So 99% yes. Nobody can see what you have in your bid center. Things that are in your bid center are, if you're looking at your tabs, everything that is right here in your inbox, this inbox is any job that has been I've received an invitation to bid on. So there may be jobs in here I'm not interested about, and there's jobs in here that I put in here myself for me to look at. Right? Both in the same. So now when I put in jobs tonight in here, I usually stick right under review because I'm obviously, I'm gonna take a look at them. Right? But this also nobody can see anything under review except for if the GC sent this to me to bid the job and I put it as under review or, not, you know, not gonna bid. So for example, I will put this up here. Now if I say if I pay, say, not bidding or bids sent or under review, and the GCs with this team, this will let the, GC know if I am going to bid it or if I'm not going to bid it. So that's the only thing that's shared is, if this is from a specific GC, the entire change this time to review or bidding, it will let the GC know that I am looking at it actively. And, also, if I can view and download the documents, from a job that's sent to me, the GC can go in and say, hey. Did they even look at the job, or did they download the documents? So if I go in and I look at the job project details, I can see it. And if I go in and take a look at their project, plans and download them, they can see that as well. So it's mostly this is, the bid center is mostly private. Nobody can see all the different jobs they're looking at. That's only visible to you. But, if a GC has sent you a bid invitation, they can't see if you viewed the bid, the job, and they can't see if you've downloaded documents and responded to the job. But that's it. I can just see if you've been responding or done with the documents on something. And that's something that if they wanna follow-up, they can reach out and call you. Be like, hey. I know we should look at the job. You know, are you gonna submit a job? Are you gonna submit a busy day? So I hope that makes sense. Now any notes you put over here, this stuff over here assigned to or whatnot. So if I put this as assigned to myself, Jessica Cymbala, nobody can see that except for people at my company. And if I'm gonna say, oh, okay. You know, for us, our part of the job is gonna be, say, 250,000, Nobody can see that. And if that we have an internal idea, I wanna at least see what to follow this job, I can type it in. It even looks up in here. Hey, Steven. Don't forget to, you know, Put that in there. And then if I wanna set a little reminder, so, like, the start date and the bid date's November 12. So maybe, I wanna set a reminder. Well, I feel like that's 2026 instead of 2025 since I grabbed an old job. But maybe I wanna set a reminder November to, get my stuff together and start making sure all the dates are good and get the job. I can put it in mind there on September 1, send myself this little note just that it's the day. Here we are. Just there. So, basically, I'm gonna send myself a little note. Right? And right here is a little note. So I'm gonna add the note down here. And then I can see a little note for myself, and I can see someone else out there. So there's a note down here. So now I'll get notified. Any other cool questions? That was a great question. No? Okay. So, also, while we're in here, if you wanna share this project with someone else on your team and you want, like, say, get it so I can set it on this, you can click right here on the share button, and I can type in whomever it is that I may wanna share that with. So, for example, if I wanted to share this with Matt, I have to say, hey. Matt, do you even look at this job? There you go. And then we hit send. And that's gonna send him a little email as he has his notification set up to receive that project, and then you can go in and view the documents and get them downloaded. And, let's see. Now speaking of, I am gonna show you guys, how you can also come up under here to set up your user notifications. So your notifications, if you wanna get things sent to you all the time, you can come up under here. And when you get agenda added to that project or anything that you're following, or that you have under review or will bid if you wanna be notified immediately via email, get right there. You can just gonna be notified right here, and you don't wanna get emailed every time it comes in. You can add it here instead. And then just plan on coming into here every morning to start the day and see if everything's changed. Or when a project shared with me, like, I just shared that one with Matt. This was my reason for going in here just to show you. If he's sharing something with me, I'm gonna be told immediately because I have my little notifications on via email. And, also, I can check on to get notified with me as well. Now I've got I had to do projects to my watch list and the agenda for the project. I'm gonna be notified immediately. And if plans or specs are added to it, I'm gonna be notified just up in here in that eight email. So and then when the bid results are released, I'm gonna say let me know when you need it. I'm gonna know when the bid results are released. Now same thing. You can actually keep track of different companies, and that's nobody else can see. But if you have favorite GCs that you like to work with and you wanna be notified whenever they are working on a new job, you can have it either email you or you can just come in here and look at your notifications. So you can say, oh, you know, this person got added to a new job. Right? See, I have a company that added a new project, so SouthGroup Medical Center building and expansion. I can check on that, and I can go look at it and be like, oh, okay. You know, one of my favorite people got interest, that attitude. So I can come in here and see all of the GCs that are on this, and I can see all the plan folders. And then I can say, oh, I like this guy too. I'm sure I can put little stars next to any of the companies I like to, pick an olive. And, be notified when they're added to other projects as well. So do we have any questions before I jump into our next part of it. You see? And I did wanna add, as you can see, we can actually when you're on a job, if you want to just move that through, you can go from working on a job and you can change it to, under view or hidden. So I can just see right where it says you have notified soon that I do testing that I'm getting it. It has clicked under under review. And then now I'm gonna say I'm not getting it. I'm not shipping any jobs. I don't want them to do that, but now they're being notified about it. So before that, they were not, but that is a perfect way on how to keep track of your jobs from within right here. And then you can see as you move jobs and progress through here, you can see all of these different things in all of these different folders. If you're looking for something in particular, you can just look around the folders project right here and you can do a search and then the calendar. Still, there's a card view as well. The tabs is my favorite because I I like to keep things organized in my different folders right there. So, next thing is, integrating all of this information back to, bid management, which is another program that we have. But before I jump in there, I want to come over here and show you guys a company watch list and my watch list. So I just clicked on some of the different companies I'm watching. And so if I wanna go in and look at any different jobs, I can see the projects that they're working on, and I can see the type of projects they're working on this year, the type they worked on last year, how many they have in planning, different contacts at the company. And then here's all the different jobs that are in bidding and planning stages. So I can take a look at those and make sure I know about all of them. I'll make sure I know about all the jobs that I have in the bidding stage. And then I can also look at any first grade results there as well. So now let's take a look at that. I can open up any of these jobs. So we'll open this one up right here. It's starting to log. And there's a couple different ways I can take a look at it. So I can view and download the documents right here. I can also click over here, and I can copy the project. And I can keep an eye on this company, which I am already. So what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna go ahead and copy this project. And now what I'm gonna copy on this project is I'm gonna copy this project and integrate it with my bill management. So in this example, we're actually a we're gonna be getting asked the GC on this, and I'm going to invite some other subcontractors to it. So right there, I'm gonna copy the project details. If I'm curious about what's been copied, I can highlight over this or hold my cover over this and have all of the different items that are in there being copied, and I can check or uncheck these. And then I don't wanna ignore the agenda. I wanna automatically just copy it in there when there's new agenda. So I'm gonna say now copy the job. And so it's copying it, and it's going to create this job of my own. And it's copying and open it up for me. So now I have my very own job that I came on here for. And I'm gonna come down here, and I can look at it. I can put in my notebook right here. I've got and if you notice, one of the main things is one of the reasons you might wanna copy a job to send it out for getting to people is you can change all of the contact list on the job. So I'm gonna add just my self close contact so people reach out to me. I can also put in one on disclosure and EDA for people. Alright. So now I'm gonna hit save changes. Let's see. There we go. Save changes. Alright. So now I went over to my so now, basically, this is inside of my ConstructConnect Biz Management, and it's ready for me to send out to somebody. So what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna come in here and do that. So I'm gonna come in here and I can do I can add several different ways. So I can either do a search or an email or auto add figures. I'm gonna do the auto add figures. And, a lot more information. I can see this is the way it pulls, and this is really good to see as a subcontractor using our software as well, is that the way that it's going to pull information is it's going to respond by the people that are most active in the. So, basically, if this is assuming that if you are active and you're inside of the, and we were looking for jobs all the time, so when you respond to bids and just say, yes. I'm bidding or no. I'm not bidding on on or before the bid due date, it is going to give you more points in the system. So this is how you're going to get points in the system. You're actively responding to bids, but it's yet to know a little bit. Also, if you're downloading documents, it's gonna add points to you as well. So what it does is it takes the people that are the most active in the system and puts them higher than everyone else. So exact score, like, if you're 87, 85, they're probably right about the same. So I'm gonna go ahead and auto add triggers. And now it'll pop in. It started, and it might take up to five minutes to this. So what it's gonna do is it's gonna auto add in all the different people, and it's going to look at a couple different things. It's gonna look at the actual ZIP code of where this job is happening. So it's gonna look at how close those people are set up. So you do wanna make sure that your profile information in here is correct, as to where, you know, your office bills that we work out of. So if you have, say, several different people that work in several different states out of several different offices, you may want to have each person set up their own profile with that information so that they can see how close, they are or so that the GCs can see how close and cool people that are close to those jobs, right, and how businesses that are close to those jobs. So now as you can see, all of my bidders have been added to the project. So I can look down here within the different jobs and people have been added. And see right here, here's the activity. And this is what I was telling you. As a subcontractor, when you are inside of your in in that question that said, is the bid center information prior to my company? This is the only way that it's, used. If in adding how many points to how active you are, to responding to bids and, downloading plans and stuff, it'll bring you higher up so GCs can see you on the school and invite you to jobs. Seeing right here, this is gonna show you the distance and then the activity. So if I am in the GC that invited you to this job, I can see right here, did they look at the job? Did they download the points? And did they respond to the bid? So if I'm looking to see if I've got a lot of coverage on here, I can look and see if these guys if there's any response what their response was and what their activity was. Right? So I can also be like, okay. You know, I'm like, you extend the pending invite. You know, I'm not actually gonna put on that because I don't want I rush people to draw that line up. She's been bidding in the system because this is live. But, I can actually add in all sheets and all information on here. So, for example, if I come in here and I check on this person, so maybe I'm gonna go ahead and view and send the pending invites. Then after, it'll show me how many are sending, how many have been pending, and I can see all of the different jobs. So after I send my failed jobs, only we enter communications. And I'll be able to see who I sent the job to, and any additional reminders or anything I sent out to them. I can also take a look at all of my. I can run some different reports, so project view activity, document activity, things like that. And then I can come back in here to my trades and coverage and take a look at that. And these will change different colors as they do see it has shown me. And then these will go from no gooders to not enough gooders to coverage so I can see where I'm at on the job. That's how it's integrated. So you can easily grab a job from ConstructConnect and pull it into the big management system and share it with people. So now that I've covered any of that, is there anything else that anybody would like to see today? I'm gonna take a quick sip of my drink and give you a chance to talk and ask any questions you need. Okay. Perfect. Well, we do have I would be amazed if I didn't want to mention a couple of fun, exciting things we have as an add on since you're on here today in ConstructConnect. We have this new thing called analytics. And I just wanna let y'all know that it is very cool if you wanna see different trending projects that are coming in ConstructConnect or different jobs or things like that, or you wanna know how many, say, types of you know, with the concrete trends in Texas. You know? Show me where or the concrete trends all over The US. Show me where there's a lot of concrete jobs or really jobs or whatever it is that I'm into, or maybe I'm looking to grow my business. And I want to do a little study on, you know, where in Texas I should go next if I wanna open up a job, you know, an office in Austin or San Antonio or Dallas. I can look at the analytics here and the jobs that are being bid on and the jobs that have been built and the jobs that, you know, have not actually gone through and, you know, didn't actually aren't actually gonna be built, but they were started, but not you know, they stopped. So I can go in here in this analytics and look at any type of analytics for any place that I am currently paying for on. So it's a new add on feature if you're trying to think about the forward kind of where your company is moving to. So I did wanna throw that in there because that's super exciting for us. That's something we ran in. And if you guys are interested, definitely let us know. And if there's anything else that interests you, you know, I will be happy to show you more about it. If there's anything else that interests you, definitely reach out to us. We're more happy to get back with you if you maybe have the, big management, but don't have the Stripe Connect side of things. So you can do your searches, give us a call. This is the easy way to bring jobs in for you. Instead of having to upload them yourself, you can probably at the front of Stripe Connect and vice versa. Just reach out if you have any questions. And with that, Matt, hi. We're just gonna see if I can hand it back over to you. Yes, ma'am. Yes, ma'am. Let me stop sharing here so you can take it over. There we go. Alright. And then I'll, I'll close this out here. So let me reshare my screen here. Awesome. Thanks, guys. I appreciate the time, and hope you all have a great rest of your day. Yeah. Thank you, Jessica. Alright. So this is what we went over. Jessica, you know, kinda took us through the, the whole gambit of everything that ConstructConnect Project Intelligence offers. So, you know, great job, Jessica. Definitely appreciate it. Just to close things out here, we do have a survey. So please fill out the product questionnaire before the end of the session. And, you know, we we greatly value any feedback that anybody can provide. You can also click the get a demo button if you would like more details on anything that you saw today. But in addition to that, here are the, the numbers for our customer service team, customer success, and then, how to schedule training. And then that really is everything. We'll, we'll stick around for a few minutes just in case anybody does have any questions. But, you know, other than that, definitely, appreciate everyone's time on here. And, you know, just feel free to let us know if you do have any questions. Alright. Well, we will, call it a day then. If, again, if you if you do need anything, feel free to click that get a demo button. And, you know, definitely, appreciate everyone's time. Have a great rest of your day. Thank you. Oh, thank you, Daniel. Have a great week too, sir. And, yeah, any anybody have anything else? I'll I'll hang out for another minute or two just just in case. Alright.
