Transcript for "Monthly Product Roadmap: Smarter Searching and Cloud Takeoff": Okay. Good afternoon, everyone. Is everyone able to hear me okay? Alright. Well, good afternoon, and welcome to Bid Like a Boss, where the team here at ConstructConnect spends each session taking deep dives into each of our data takeoff and estimating projects to show you where and what we are doing to help you bid like a boss. Today's session is our monthly product road map focusing on smart searching and cloud takeoff. Just a couple of reminders before we get started for with our content today. Your microphones are muted, but you can use the session chat to ask questions throughout the session today. The session is being recorded, and we will be available after the event. To watch the recording, you'll just return to the same website where you viewed the live event. And anyone else from your company who would also like to watch, our session today will need to register first for the event. We do recommend entering full screen mode during today's product demonstration for for a better viewing experience. To do so, you can click the square icon in the bottom right corner of the screen. Okay. Well, let's get started. I'm Mona Dvorak, and I am a senior customer success manager. I've been with ConstructConnect for more than twenty years. In my role, I work closely with our customers who use our takeoff data, and bid management solutions, helping them get the most value from our products and supporting them throughout their experience with us. I'm excited to introduce our presenters today. First, Darcy Groom, a product manager at ConstructConnect, who will review ConstructConnect project intelligence or CCPI. And Jake Elmhorst, customer engagement manager, will review the named user model for OST. And then Jessica Berlanga, a principal product manager, will review the takeoff portion of today's presentation. I'll be monitoring the chat and jumping in as needed, but I will hand it over to Darcy first. Darcy, you can take it away. Perfect. Thank you so much, Mona. Hi, everyone. Excited to be here with you guys today. I'm gonna show you a couple of, some of the newer things in our, construct construct connect project intelligence platform. Before I dive in, I kinda wanna preface this all with saying, we know we hear from you guys that in this business, relationships are everything, and so we really wanna put a strong emphasis on that, on relationships and how you can use those to both discover and qualify opportunities through project intelligence. And so, with that, we'll go ahead and dive right in. Alright. Perfect. So, one thing that we have been, working on this year, is really expanding our search interface. So if you already have our Project Intelligence platform, you're probably familiar with this page. If not, this is our search experience which allows you to, find, either construction projects happening near you or, some of the players in the space. And so what we have here, is a search that is looking at, not only a certain type of project but also who the people are that are associated with those projects. And so we've done a lot of work this year to really make sure that you can use one search experience to look at both of those things kind of in one really powerful search. So here we're looking at, a basic search, but we're just saying, projects whose value is over a million dollars above, within 50 miles of Atlanta. And specifically here what the interesting thing is that we wanna look at those projects that already have general contractors who are bidding on them. So let's say in this case, you might be, so let's say in this case, you might be a, subcontractor or some sort of, specialty trade where you get involved and you want to be able to already see who are the bidders on these projects, or, and be able to kind of reach out to those general contractors specifically. The the powerful thing that we've done here is, again, not just if you have a specific type of project and we could add, any additional filters here by, trade or whatever your specialty type of work is or whatever profile of project you look for. But then we can get more granular into, what type of role are people associated with on this project, as well as maybe, who those folks are or what, where they might be located, etcetera. So, again, this is kind of a simple example, but, again, we're looking for a specific type of project that maybe already has a general contractor, that might be bidding on it. And, the great thing again, I mentioned this is one really powerful search engine and so what we've done here is we've made it so that you can actually just come over here and click on the companies tab. You'll see that I'm performing the same search. I'm still looking at, the same type of project and, locate project location. But here I can actually see the actual list of, companies who might be associated with those projects. And so again, sort of depending on what your outreach style is, maybe you want to start going through these companies and qualifying them to, engage with them further. And you can do that same thing the other way around. So, again, just to look at a different example here, in this case, let's say that you, perhaps you're a general contractor yourself, you're looking for developers who do commercial projects and maybe you want to sort of build relationship with those folks. So again here I've done, a similar search but in the opposite direction. So in this case, I'm actually looking at folks who, were developers on, commercial projects. So we've got sort of our own definition of different types of projects that we categorize as commercial, so I'm looking at those. And then, I really wanna take recency into account, so I wanna say, let's say, let's look for developers who have done that work, on projects that actually started last year. And so I can get, I can get pretty specific here in my filters. And one of the things that we've done here is that as you're going through this and you wanna say, okay. I can actually see that this company as an example, they didn't just do a project with that, but I can actually see that they have done three different commercial projects totaling this value. And one of the things that we've also introduced this year is, really making as easy as possible for you to get into the details and say, okay, I actually wanna go look at those three projects. Are those projects maybe I was involved with or do I know somebody involved with those projects? And so you can actually just you are use our view matching projects option here to actually get more granular, see those specific projects, see if they're the type of project that might be a good fit for your business, and then that tells you whether or not that, that company may or may not be a good lead for you. So again, big emphasis here is really being able to look across both the project profile as well as the company profile, drill into the specifics of that company or those projects, and use that as an engagement strategy. Now on the note of relationships, what I'm gonna give you guys a sneak peek of here is something that is new to our premium offering for Project Intelligence. But we have, enhanced our company profiles so that you can actually sort of start to understand how does any one company actually have a relationship to other companies perhaps in their network or in your network. So, again, if you are sort of looking at a specific company and wondering, do I know anyone that they already work with who might be able to introduce me to them, or something what what is their sort of project profile look like? So in this example, I can actually see, the top 10 collaborators that this specific firm has worked with. And so not only does this give me a a good sense of the type of projects they do, but if I'm looking for, again, just to engage with the this company, I can actually start understanding what is their network and how might I be able to collaborate with them. I've also got some high level, information here on the types of projects that they do. So, some new construction but heavy on renovation. And then in particular, what is their blend of private versus, public projects. And so, again, depending on either where you specialize or perhaps where you're trying to grow and expand your business, you can do that. Now if you are an advanced user and using our search tags when you build and save your searches, you can actually start to understand, for any one company, how how often do they engage with projects that meet that profile that you have set up. So, for example, I have a search set up for projects that have a scope with helical piles included in that. And so I can understand really quickly, they've done 24 projects that might be, a fit with, that scope of work. And I can also see here, again, take recency into account. So maybe they've done ten, seven projects that meet my specific search, the one we just saw, but of those maybe only two were in the last twelve months. So again, really understanding the network, the types of work that a specific company does, and and how and that gives me some sense of engagement strategy. Is this a relationship I wanna pursue? How might I go about pursuing that relationship? And again, we wanna stress, these connections as a part of our premium offering for our project intelligence platform. Now if you are looking at this and saying, it's really great, but I'm not really sure how I might get started building, a search to look for one of these things. It's a little intimidating. How do I go in and start building that? And for that, we have a new feature that is currently in beta, and this is called Search Assist. So Search Assist is going to be, think of this as your companion to actually helping you build a really tailored search in our project intelligence platform. And so if you're not really sure where to start, project our search assist can actually kind of help you start curating that search. This is again a new feature. It lives right embedded into the search experience. And so I'll walk you through a few examples, very much in line with what we just talked about. So, in this example, I've used Search Assist to to build, almost an identical search to the one we just mentioned. So let's say, again, I'm looking for projects in my area bidding in the next thirty days, and I just want to see those that already have some general contractors bidding on them. Now you could tweak this to your business. So if you only get engaged once a general contractor has been awarded or maybe you're further upstream, you wanna look at things that are in the design phase, whatever that may be, the idea is that you come into SearchAssist and you tell SearchAssist exactly what you are looking for. And so the great thing is that it has taken that query and it's gone ahead and said, hey. I already know what your service area is. I'll apply that location filter. I saw you ask for bid dates in the next thirty days and that you're looking for projects that already have those GC bidders on them. So it's gone ahead and pulled all those filters into our search, and given me a sense of maybe what some of the additional filters I might wanna apply are. So if I asked it to filter by my preferred trades, just gonna go ahead and look at my profile, see what trades I already have configured there, and apply those to my search. The great thing about Search Assist is that you can use this to both build a search. So if you're new and really starting to get started building a profile in our project intelligence platform, you can build your searches that way, but you can also use that to edit existing ones. So if you remember our original search with the, projects with general contractors, we were looking at 1,000,000 and above 50 miles of Atlanta and, those with general contractor bidders. And then here, I've opened that same exact search, and I'm just saying, hey. Some of these are far out. Can you just show me projects with the start date in the next thirty days? And so it has taken that and, given me added that filter in for me. Now you still are always gonna have all your traditional filters applied, but what we find is we talk to a lot of people and perhaps they're overwhelmed looking at this list. They're not sure where to start or what to click on. And with SearchAssist, you can simply tell SearchAssist what you're looking for, and it'll help you get you there. From here, I can make, any changes I've made, I can save, which means I can just come back easily later and, any of those changes I work through with Search Assist are stored for me in the future. Just some additional things to highlight. If you again, really helpful if you're new, but if you ever come into search come into ConstructConnect and are thinking, I'm not maybe super familiar with some of the terminology or I don't know how to use certain things or what they mean. The great thing about SearchAssist is that you can ask it basic questions. So in this example, I've asked what's the difference between pre construction negotiating, just GC bidding, and sub bidding. I can ask those questions and SearchAssist will actually give me an answer and also provide me a link to our help documentation. And SearchAssist is multilingual, so no matter what your, primary or first language is, you can come into SearchAssist, give it the scope of work that you are looking for, the type of project or company that you're interested in, and it's gonna, again, help you build that search. Now SearchAssist goes hand in hand with our ask documents feature. This was released earlier this year, but just as a reminder, once you've used searches this to really narrow down and look for a specific type of project, you can open that project and use ask documents to ask questions about the project itself. So I come in here and, ask about the scope of work for my trade, and Synergist has given me a summary of the scope, what is or is not included, as well as the types of schedules that might be relevant to my trade. So that's a little bit of what is new going on in the project intelligence world. Again, big emphasis on, using project intelligence to help build relationships, find the right projects based on who's associated with them, understand the network of folks associated with those companies, and then use some of our latest tools to, do that, smarter not harder and, enrich your your, your journey. Oh, yeah. Go ahead. Did we have any questions, Mona? Alright. That's I don't see any in the chat, but I think that this is fantastic. I, just got off a call earlier where I know that, that customer customer is gonna be super excited for all the new things. So it's really I'm excited to be able to help support our customers as well. So fantastic job. Thank you. Alright. Any questions that you have? Just a reminder, go ahead and put those in the chat. Next, Jake Elmhorst is gonna be reviewing the new named user model for OST. So we'll turn it over to Jake. Alright. Thanks, Mona. And thanks, Darcy, for going through all the the new stuff in CCPI. Like Mona said, you know, a lot of lot of great updates, really improving the the platform. And now we're gonna take a look at our our takeoff options and and some of the updates that we've been making there and, see how we can improve that process for you. Like Mona said, throw those questions in the chat throughout. I wanna make sure to address anything that you guys have, anything else that you wanna see. So, I have my screen shared here and this is on screen takeoff. Now I am in the most recent version, our, named user model. So not a whole lot of difference of typically how you use, on screen takeoff, but there are some some updates to, the way that you can collaborate with, your team members and then, just speeding up the the initial takeoff process for you. So gonna go through, some of the the most recent updates and things that are in this most recent, version. In a minute after we've covered some of this, we'll have a poll pop up. If you are not on this version and if you are interested in moving to this version, we are, starting the migration process and starting to move customers over. But if you have not been notified of that and you would like to move sooner, then we can, you know, get you on that, migration process a little bit sooner. So, the first thing that I wanted to take a look at with, on screen takeoff, there is a you'll see up at the top here, have this extra database. That is our cloud sync. So you can share your projects with anyone else, in your organization. And so down at the bottom I have my other database open, you know, same process that you had before with opening and closing your databases. But if I take, one of these projects and I say, you know what, I need to share this with, my other estimator so they can finish, the, the takeoff or if they wanna put this into Quickbit and, do the estimating side for me, all I have to do is I can select that project and then up at the top, I'm gonna hit that send to cloud. And that's gonna go ahead and take that project and it's gonna put it into that database, that cloud database up at the top there. So you see that ConstructConnect database, Yours will be named whatever your organization is named. And once I have done that, I have a little processing bar. It's on my other screen so you guys can't see it right now, but, that is going through and adding that to the cloud. Once that is in the cloud, any other user in my organization will be able to see that project, and then they can take that and add it to their, their database and continue working. So there is that project, now added to the cloud. So anyone else in my organization could go ahead and grab that and start working or continue working on that project. From there, if, you know, however, you know, they wanna do it. So I'm gonna grab one of these projects that, someone else added, to the database, and same thing or, you know, kinda same process. I'm just gonna hit that send to local. And so that's gonna take that and download that download that to my database that I, currently have open, and I'm gonna go ahead and create that new project. And once that is downloaded, that's gonna show up in my database. And now I can go ahead and work on that just like any other, project that I was working on. And so you can go, you know, back and forth with those projects, sharing those with other users in your organization. And the great thing about this is you don't have to send it to someone specifically, you add it to, the cloud and then it's available for anyone else in your organization. So, that is, one of the the updates. Let's get into a project and see, some of those other updates, see what that looks like. So I'm gonna go into this auto link, project here. And so if you are you know, as you're getting started with a project, you've gotta look through the details. You've gotta find all the information, about the different wall types and, you know, figure out what specific takeoff you need to do. So you're typically jumping back and forth from page to page. You know, you might have a separate PDF open on the side as you're scrolling through, or you might be using your name views, and your or the annotation and, view window to go through and look at those. Well, with auto link, that is gonna go through and name or create those name views and hot links for you. So if I click start, it's gonna tell me it was already run on this project. So but you would go through and you would run that on your, your project. And then in my conditions window at the top, I have this views tab. And so there are all of the different name views that were created throughout this project. And then on the plan page or wherever those name views are linking to, I can go ahead and just click on that hotlink, and that's gonna open that name view. So this was linking to page a seven zero one detail two. So if I look at I'm on page a seven zero one, detail two is what popped up right when I clicked on that. I can also click that from over here on the left side. I can go ahead and just open up any of these details, double clicking on those, and that's gonna open up to, you know, whatever one of those named views and or annotation in the window. So, and just kind of a a nice feature with the added auto link, I can open multiple of these annotation in the windows. Before, you can only open one of those. Now, you can I believe it's five or 10 that you can have open? Jessica can correct me, when she comes up in a minute here. But you can open multiple of these windows so that way you, you know, have several details open, take these, you know, over to your other monitor and have those details open while you are working. Alright. So I'm gonna go ahead and close out of those, and then I'm gonna jump back to my projects tab, and we're gonna get into our some of our other features, within the, most recent version. And so as you are, you know, jumping in the if you were on one of the previous versions, the takeoff boost, it was just a button. Well, now it's a whole suite of tools. So obviously I've mentioned the auto link. That's the the first option when you're getting started, going through and and creating some of that takeoff. And then, we have our auto takeoff. And so I'm gonna jump over to a floor plan here. And with our auto takeoff, a lot of the the same options that were in the the previous versions before the named user model, but we there are still some updates, with what you can do. So just gonna kinda point out the the footprint area, net area. I'm gonna do my walls on here. I'll do my painting on another page in just a second. I can set my default height, so I have that set to nine feet. I can do, all my different count options and windows. I have a, hexagon tag and then I'm gonna turn off my volume for now until I get to a, concrete plane. With the this version, it is not just one page. Before you were just able to run, Takeoff Boost on the current page that you are on, I can now run it on multiple pages, and then I can go ahead and choose the pages that I wanna run it on. Now in this case, I'm just gonna run it on this one particular page, but I do have that option to go through and select all the pages in my plan that I wanna run that takeoff on. So I'm gonna go ahead and click run auto takeoff and I get my notification down on the bottom right that that is running. And that's gonna go ahead and create my conditions in my conditions window and put all of that takeoff in there. Now while that is running, I'm gonna jump over to another page and actually I'm gonna delete my takeoff there. Oh, looks like I did. There we go. I got my layers turned off. And so we're just gonna go through and and rerun that. Now I already ran it on this particular project, so my conditions are already there, but you would, otherwise, you would see those conditions being created as you're running that takeoff and you see all of those that just popped in. That's from the other page. So when I jump back to the other page in a second here, we'll see all those results there. And I'm gonna go ahead and click auto takeoff, and I'm gonna unselect all of these other options because now I wanna run my, my volume for my concrete. So this is, one of the new options with the the named user model and this most recent version having volume, as an option for your takeoff. So I have my spread footing, my linear footing, and my slabs. If I want, I can go ahead and split those spread footings, and, you know, or split split the linear footings at the spread footings. So, we're gonna go ahead and run on that current page, And so that's gonna go ahead and run on this page. While we're waiting, I'm gonna jump back and take a look at all my results on the other page. And I'm gonna utilize my layers. If you haven't used your layers, do recommend opening that layer window over on the right side. Click on those three squares, and that's gonna open your layer window. And from there, you can turn on and off, some of the different take off. So if I turn off my accounts, my walls, and my net area, oh, and then my windows. And so now I just have that, footprint area, just that total square foot of that floor plan, then I'm gonna turn off that footprint area, turn on my net area, and these are each taken off individually. Now I can assign these to, different conditions. I can, you know, modify the condition, go in and make adjustments to that. I'm not gonna go into all the details of of adjusting and modifying, just because I wanna get to, our other product as well and then get make sure that we have time for Jessica. We I do a session every Tuesday where I really go through this process of, modifying and making adjustments to the takeoff and making those changes. So, if you, you know, have questions on how to make those adjustments and make changes, you know, definitely recommend joining that session, on Tuesdays. But I'm gonna go ahead and turn my walls back on real quick just so you can see. You have, my walls, and I did forget to throw on the wall tags. Otherwise, it would have, created a different, condition for each of my different wall types. And you throw my windows on there so you can see, all the windows taken off as well. So I'm gonna go ahead and jump over to my concrete plan so we can see all of that concrete takeoff and so we can see each of these, spread footings that were taken off. When I open these up, it is setting all my height, my width, my depth. So it is getting that volume. It's putting the details, into the notes. So if you are connecting this to QuickBid, you'll have those details, so that way you can make sure that you are getting, you know, how many loads of concrete you need, any of those other details that you are adding with that specific, information within Quick Bid as well. Alright. So we have, our concrete, and I'll just, turn off some of these layers real quick just to so you guys get a better, view there, turning my slab on, and then my linear footings. Alright. And then I'm gonna go ahead and take a quick look at I'm gonna jump over to where is my here we go. Got my electrical plan here, and we are going to utilize our auto count. And so that is now if you've been using on screen takeoff, there has always been an auto count, but it's been looking at the pixels of the plan. With the updated version, this is, AI looking for the symbol that you are, selecting or choosing. So I could do I I'm gonna do one of my receptacles here and have it look for that symbol, or I could have it look for like this k window or, you know these are for my wall types but you have that option to choose the shape and the the text, that is in that shape as well, or just the individual shapes. So I'm gonna go ahead and click on auto count. This has given me some information about running that, and then I'm just gonna go ahead and click and drag around that shape. And so it is gonna be looking for that, and I'm gonna go ahead and do my receptacle. If I wanna put it in a type, I can. So just depending on how I wanna organize that, I'm gonna throw that in my electrical. And this is where I mentioned you can choose to have it look for specific text within that that symbol or just the symbol. And so we're gonna say just the symbol because there is no text, within there. We're gonna go ahead and hit next. Again, I can choose the pages that I wanna run that on. We're gonna go ahead and just run it on this particular page, and that's gonna go ahead and run for me. Now that first window was letting me know, you know, you can continue working. You don't have to sit here and and watch it and wait. And typically within thirty to forty five seconds, you'll have your results from any of the the the auto takeoff, auto count. Autolink is gonna take a little bit longer. That's why I didn't run that live in this session because it is going through reading all of those pages on your plan. So just something to to be aware of when you're getting started with that project. You know, good time to set that up before you really get in and start doing any of your takeoff. Alright. And I already have my results back there, and so I can see my, receptacles, that were picked up there. And if so, taking a look at the the results from that auto takeoff or auto count, going ahead and looking at those symbols, picking up those, receptacles throughout that plan. And I'm gonna jump over to my one more plan here. And one of the, options here and we're just gonna go ahead and delete all my takeoff that I have there. And we're gonna run this on my painting, and we're gonna see, some of the the takeoff options with my painting. So I'm gonna and I gotta remember to turn off my volume here, and then we're gonna do painting. And we're gonna go ahead and set this to, we'll say these are 10 feet, and we're gonna go ahead and run on that current page. Now on this finish plan, I have the details of the finishes in this particular room. And so it's gonna pick up on those different details and it's gonna create conditions based on those details, within, that room. And so you'll see I've got my paint two, I've got my tile three, and so it has those different details within the rooms, It's gonna create the conditions based on, those details within that room, and then it'll do that takeoff separately, for each of those rooms. Now when I ran it previously, I said that they were nine feet. This time I ran it so that they were 10 feet. So it created a 10 foot p two, ten foot r b one, t three, and w p one. So it created those conditions, drew that takeoff, throughout that plan, based on those details, within each of those rooms. So, really saving a lot of time switching between conditions, drawing the different takeoff around each one of those rooms so you're getting that square footage of each of your different finish types within each of those rooms. Alright. So I think I've hit all of the, you know, a lot of the features within, on screen takeoff within that newest version. So like I mentioned, the, kind of suite of tools that comes takeoff options, Concrete being the the most recent update to the the takeoff options, then our auto count and, auto link. Now I'm gonna switch gears and we're gonna take a look at our, other takeoff platform, our ConstructConnect takeoff, which is our new web takeoff. You're gonna see a lot of similarities to what you see here in on screen takeoff with Takeoff Boost. We you know, using kind of that same, background platform that we are building the takeoff options, but with the ConstructConnect takeoff option, that is gonna be a a web platform where you are doing your takeoff, through you know, on the cloud. And so the the idea, you know, just depending on which platform you're currently on, if you are used to using on screen takeoff, download it on your device, that's what you wanna stick with. You have that option. You have takeoff boost that can go into that. But then we are also developing a web version with the auto takeoff options, that you can do, within, you know, that that same, platform or a different platform. So I'm gonna go ahead and switch over to our construct connect takeoff. And so I am looking at, my projects again. This is a shared, shared database of projects with my other users in the the organization. I can, kinda navigate and move those bids through the the process as we're working on those. When you are creating a new project, giving it a name, putting all the details in that you need, adding your drawings, specifications, other documents that you want to add. Now I'm not gonna go through just adding those, the one reason I'm kinda skipping that process I just added this project a little bit ago because when you are doing that and when you are adding those files, it is automatically reading those files and renaming those projects. So I'm gonna go ahead and jump into one of those pages. And so when I click on that page, it is going to it was already named, and so it does take a few minutes to go through depending on the size of the project, how many pages you have to go through and rename those pages. And so with that, now up at the top if you hadn't noticed as I move to this page, this was orange to start. It now turned green, and it says detected. So it is auto detecting the scale, on that page. And so if I zoom in and look, there is my scale. It was auto detected and it was set for me. So I didn't have to go in and set that. Now we do always just recommend verifying. So even if you were setting the scale yourself, utilizing the linear dimension tool and just verifying that that takeoff or that scale is accurate. And so I just measured a doorway there. We are good at three feet, because on this finished plan, I don't have, any any marked out measurements to go by unless I knew, you know, the width of one of these rooms or something else that I know just verifying. Now, like I mentioned, you're gonna see some similarities between on screen takeoff and construction night takeoff and, what the options are. So over here on the left, I have no conditions. We're gonna go ahead and say auto takeoff. We want this to to go through and, detect all the the different conditions that we, that we need. So some of the same options that you saw before. Under my linears, I have my walls. And and actually on this one, I'm gonna do my painting because I'm on that finished plan. I can set my height. Let's say these are ten feet. And then I'll jump over to some other plans, but we can run our area takeoff. We have our account takeoff, and then we have our so like I mentioned, a lot of similarities between the options and the results that you can get from on screen takeoff to our ConstructConnect takeoff platform. Just two different platforms running the, you know, really the same back end, takeoff boost platform. So I'm gonna go ahead and click that run auto takeoff. We'll get that notification down in the bottom right. That lets us know that, takeoff boost is running. Now one thing I will, call out on the ConstructConnect takeoff, We, you know, expect to see those same times of thirty to forty five seconds as what we're seeing in, on screen takeoff. Since we are right now still in our early release of, ConstructConnect takeoff or we're seeing a little bit closer, like, two minutes, for running some of that takeoff. Now even thinking about two minutes to, create conditions, draw takeoff, I still won't even have created all the conditions in two minutes probably. So, if I was going through and creating those conditions by myself, you know, it it would likely take me, you know, at least that two minutes. But it is in that time, it is creating the conditions. We'll start to see those pop into my conditions window, here over on the left. And there we go. Some of those are starting to to populate. Once they have all populated, then we will see, all that takeoff, come into, that plan page there. So we're gonna see all those results show up in just a minute once that has completed processing. And, again, you know, we'll continue to see the the times for, you know, how long it takes to get those results back. We'll continue to improve. We'll continue to get faster as we can continue to, develop the platform. And there we have, all of that takeoff. And if I go ahead and open up one of these conditions named with that wall surface 10 feet, It is in the group for wall surfaces. I have all my details in there, surface area length and segment count set up for, each of those. We also have those layer options where you can turn off a whole group of items or just individual items, within, construction on takeoff as well. Alright. From there, I'm gonna jump over to a floor plan real quick. And from here, you can see up at the top that was orange turned green once that was detected. And I'm gonna go ahead and zoom in here, choose one of my or choose my linear, option here just to verify. And I am right on that 10 feet once I get that. There we go. And so just verifying that that scale is accurate. And now I don't have that auto takeoff button here because I already have conditions, so I'm just gonna click on that plus up at the top. And then we're gonna go to our auto takeoff. I'm gonna do my walls. I am gonna choose my wall tags. I can, you know, tell it that I want to identify the the details and, you know, all that information as well. I'm gonna set my default height. Let's say these are nine. And just gonna show some of those same options that you saw in on screen takeoff just so you can see that, comparison here within, construction and takeoff. And we're gonna go ahead and run that. Alright. So, while that is running, again, typically, we're gonna see, you know, right now, seeing about around two minutes, for all that takeoff to complete. That time will continue to improve. As you're working in the platform, since this is still an early release, we are looking for feedback. Any information, that you can, you know, give to say, you know what? This isn't quite working, the way that we need it to, or we would like to see that. Click on that feedback button over on the left side. How can we improve? Go ahead and add any of those details in there. You know, let us know, that it's gonna go directly to our product team so that way they can they know exactly what what needs to be improved. Probably, you know, need to to make adjustments to, the way that the platform is working, the way that takeoff boost is working, the, you know, the results that you're getting. So, love to hear any of that feedback. We'll be talking about some different ways that you can, work with our team. Jessica's, got a, you know, program that they work with customers, get that feedback, see how they can develop and and improve, the platforms that we have. So, now, once that has run, once you've completed all of your takeoff, within, Constructor Night takeoff, Up at the top, we have an export option. And so I'll do that in a minute here. We can export all those numbers to Excel. From there, you can add in, any of your pricing options, you know, anything else that you would need to do with, those totals, once you have completed that takeoff. Now you'll notice right now these all say zero. Even though I did that wall surface, those numbers are back on the other page where I did that takeoff there. Here, this is just gonna be my totals for this particular project or this particular page, rather than, you know, the other pages that I was working on. So I'm seeing all those conditions, starting to populate in here. We'll see those results, starting to show up in just a second here. Really are gonna see very similar results, very similar options that we were doing within, on screen takeoff to ConstructConnect takeoff. Like I mentioned, you know, really that same, platform that the the take off the the auto take off is built on, that we're getting those results. So there we go. We have all of those options, taken off. We have all those results, popping in there, and we are able to see, all of that takeoff being completed. Now, one that I didn't do, when we were in on screen tape off was our existing walls. So I'm gonna go ahead and do just walls. I'm gonna identify the existing walls. These are now a lot of times, you'll probably have a portion of your plan that is grayed out because it's, you know, not, not in the scope of the project. This particular project, my exterior walls are gray, and then my interior walls are your kinda your standard white. So gonna say, you know, the the existing walls are gray, and then I have the option to include those, not include those, or only, do that takeoff. We're gonna go ahead and do both, and we're gonna run that auto takeoff. So we're gonna see two separate conditions created, one for just wall. That's gonna be all my interior walls, and then my existing wall. And you can just depending on how you wanna utilize that, you could just rename those conditions. If you didn't want it called existing, I could just call it exterior, or, you know, just renaming that type of the the wall, to another condition, based on that particular project. Alright. So, just about done showing kind of all of our current features, with, like I said, I went through, on screen takeoff, the newest version, all the options that are available with that newest version. And now looking at constructing a takeoff, just seeing this platform live and, seeing what the auto takeoff can do, you know, what what options you have. Now I can still create my own conditions. I can draw my own manual takeoff within here as well, but just showing some of those auto takeoff options. How does this compare to your current, takeoff? Go ahead and throw it in the chat. Let me know. Is this, you know, something that you would be interested in, you know, taking a look at? We got a couple polls that we're gonna be, popping up here, but, just comparing to what your current process is, utilizing, you know, the auto takeoff options, what that might look like, you know, give us any any feedback. Now as this popped in here, I didn't verify my scale. I didn't double check and and make sure that it was accurate. So those walls are looking a little bit wide. So I am gonna go ahead and set this to the one eighth inch scale. Now that I've applied that, that looks a little bit more normal, you know, to that correct size. And let me see if that is yep. So that is the the accurate scale now. So just anytime your takeoff something doesn't look right, I always just verify that scale. Just double check. You know, go ahead and measure something that you know is accurate and, you know, just verify any of that takeoff. So just gonna go ahead here and just double check this and see how we're right about that six foot. So looks like we are good, once I had adjusted that scale there. Alright. So if you have any questions, throw them in the chat. What what, you know, what do you need to see with any of these platforms? You know, go ahead and and let us know. Jessica's gonna jump up here, and I'm gonna have her, kinda go through, what is is coming next, what else, her and her team are working on. While we're doing that, I'm gonna jump back to on screen takeoff for a second because I'm gonna open up a poll. If you are if you use on screen takeoff, but you are not on the most recent version, the named user model where I, showed where we have auto link, auto account, the concrete options for, takeoff and cloud sync. I'm gonna go ahead and open this pool. If you, let us know if you are you know, want to get on to that most recent version or if you're already on that version, and, you know, just, you know, what version you're you're currently on. And then, you know, would you like to, you know, get on that most recent version? And, actually, I'm gonna switch this over to this other poll here. There we go. So that one there is, do you wanna get updated to that most recent version? So go ahead and let us know if you would like to update, to that version so we can have, our team reach out to you, to get you details on updating, to that version. So while we are, leaving that open for a minute for everyone to go ahead and respond there, I think we got Jessica up here, and I'm gonna switch, back to the slides here, and we'll, let her jump in. Alright. Ginny, I I can't hear you, Jessica. I don't know if you can hear me. Still can't hear you, Jess. Not yet. Nope. Yep. Now we can. can. Yeah. Okay. Awesome. I have, like, five mics here. But alright. I was just saying, it was really impressive how you, demonstrated the applications. It's very exciting to actually see how on screen takeoff has grown and our new ConstructConnect takeoff web solution now in flight, with all the the the great and exciting tools behind takeoff. So, here, I wanna share what is in on screen takeoff and quick bin as we continue to actually develop the cloud solution behind them. So today, Jake went over several of the features that we had in takeoff boost, auto name, auto scale, auto link, auto takeoff. There are some of these that are actually continuing to improve, and, actually, we're using AI models to make sure that you have access to the most accurate data. In addition to that, cloud sync is actually in on screen takeoff version nine sixty two. This version allows you to sync your projects in the cloud. Where we're gonna go from there is actually now also allow you to have your masters in the cloud. So any type of styles, style sets, maybe condition types that everybody shares in the organization. We know how painful it can be to actually have so many databases with so many versions of your master. We're gonna enable the ability to actually get those masters in the cloud so that it can be just one source of truth. Whenever you wanna use it, you can always, you know, sync it back to your local database and utilize it in your projects. As I mentioned, with TakeoBoos, we are very excited to actually continue to grow. The auto name feature is actually becoming an AI feature, so you no longer have to actually select where the page number is or, you know, the sheet title. You'll actually let Takeo Boost do the work and then get your accurate names on the plans. In addition, auto scale, just similarly to what you actually saw, in the CCTO application, you will actually see that the application will allow you to just auto scale all your plans. Definitely, you still have the option to verify. It's definitely very important that you take a look and, you know, just make sure that the scale is confirmed. But other than that, the application is very accurate as it actually brings in the auto scale. In addition, we are bringing in a search in the application, so you can be able to search for text in the plans. Maybe you wanna be able to look at a detail in the take off tab, you'll be able to do that as well as being able to navigate from your conditions to a plan detail. So maybe the notes that you're actually bringing in of your wall type details, your concrete work, how things are installed, adding your notes, you'll be able to have a link as well from there to another plan. Quickbit is also being updated. You'll have a way to actually sign in to the application and then have the ability to also see the cloud sync, evolving in the application where we'll be able to get you projects as well as the master data. So we can go to the next slide with the road map. Alright. And this is just a a quick look at what you were seeing with, with Jake. Basically, to for you to actually realize if you're having the right version, you will see at the top of the, main toolbar, takeoff boost is, the new toolbar that we have in our platform with all your AI tools as well as transformation tools that will help you actually make changes and adjust your takeoff as you go. In addition, on the right side, there is a resource center very much for you to be able to see what are the upcoming updates that we have. Maybe there is a new webinar that you wanna, be able to maybe join us with and learn tips as well. The resource center can be expanded at any time and be able to give you all that information in the app. Now we can go to the next slide. Alright. For ConstructConnect takeoff, our web solution will continue to grow it. The tools that we currently have are very much AI oriented so that you can be able to effectively actually create a project, your takeoff, and then go in, and making, you know, the next steps that you need to actually get your bid, ready. So coming soon, we're actually working with bringing in estimating. You'll be able to see assemblies in the application, being able to also quantify material labor, see a catalog by trade, very exciting for us to actually bring in the data that we already have right in our applications, PlanSwift and PortSoft, QuickBet. They all actually carry catalogs of material, labor, manufacturer data that we have that we have partnered with. Will they all go to, be in here in our web take off solution? In addition, we're working on different trades, roofing as well is coming, auto count, auto link as well as revision management. So very excited to actually see this and and definitely, Jake, maybe we can go ahead and post the next poll. If anybody would like to be an early adopter, take a look. Join us in Takeoff Champions. We can certainly, take you in and share what is coming. Alright. And we can go to the next slide. Alright. And this is just a quick look of what you saw, before with Jake on the customer connect takeoff application. In this case, it's actually another look of how you can bring in, auto takeoff to get you the concrete, data. Right? So in here, I have a couple examples of how we have our spread footings, linear footings, as well as the slab. Alright. And then we can go to the next slide. Alright. So takeoff champions, definitely something we, love to actually continue having here at ConstructConnect. It actually help us continue to build behind what you actually love to see in the application, actually touch bases on what is the pain points that you may have in the application, how can we make the work even better? So we, join a few different product managers just like me or Darcy, meet with, any customers, that are interested. We can meet weekly, monthly. It just depends. We're very flexible just on your schedule. We would love to also visit you on-site and see how things work at your company, and then definitely learn from there how we can better our tools. During this program, you get early access to the applications and anything that we're working on. So, yeah, sign up today. There is a button here, a bit like a boss. Says take our champions and let us know if you are interested. And with that, pass it on to you, Jake. Alright. Thanks, Jessica. Yeah. Just wanted to cover a couple of, options here. So we talked about on screen takeoff and making sure, you know, that you have, the the most recent version and then, that you have all of the the takeoff tools. So, with the the different options, for the the maintenance, and we'll also talk about our subscription options, to see, making sure that you have, those features available. So we have different tiers for our maintenance, making sure that you are on those versions and able to have all those features, actually I think the next slide is the one that, there we go. So looking at the, the different tiers of the so we have our subscription tiers. And so with, Jessica talked about, on screen takeoff and quick bid. So this shows, you know, how you can have just on screen takeoff or just quick bid, but then also with the the AI features, and so with our, essential tier that's gonna give you on screen takeoff and then boost light, so boost light is, five projects of, the auto takeoff. So that is gonna give you, like I said, you know, you can run that on up to five projects, but you also get the auto link and auto count with that. So that is, you know, you can run that on, you know, as many projects, but just the auto takeoff is that limited version of, within the essential, tier. When you move up to, the core option, then you get unlimited auto takeoff. So just depending on, know, maybe just a a couple projects that you typically need to to run the auto takeoff on, the essential might be a good option for you, or if you need that unlimited, moving up to the the core. Then our plus and our professional, those are what include, QuickBid, within those subscription. And with that, you also get, you know, some extra training hours that go along with that, and then the the different, options there. So really kind of the same, kickoff boost options of, you know, how much is available. So the essential and the plus have that that boost light. And then with the, core and professional, you get that unlimited, auto takeoff, you get the auto count, auto link, those options there as well. And then back to the, the maintenance we have, if you have our on, prem version of on screen takeoff, the standard is you get the software, you get to, you know, continue to utilize it, you know, and the, the current auxiliary features. But with the moving up to the advanced, that's where you get the the boost lite, and then you get that those training sessions that go along with it. And then when you move up to the premium, that's where you get that, the full, auto takeoff options there with, the maintenance tiers. So, just looking at some of those options, if you aren't sure what tier you're on, you know, you can, in we'll have a question at the end here. Be like, hey. You know, I need someone to reach out to me, get me some more details to let me know what tier we're on, you know, potentially moving up. We can have your account manager reach out and get you some more details on that. So, like I mentioned, I'm gonna go ahead and open up a quick questionnaire there. If there's anything that you didn't get answered today, you can throw it into there. If you need your account manager to reach out to you, get you some details on what tier you're on, any other, questions that you might have, you know, definitely let us know, in there. Jessica mentioned the the take off champions button. Make sure to to click that up at the top if you are interested in that. And then, the just gonna open up one more, quick poll here that Jessica had. Just what's your initial reaction to the ConstructConnect takeoff or the cloud based, platform? You know, does that, you know, get you excited about doing takeoff, utilizing the the auto takeoff? You know, still have some questions, you know, not quite sure, you know, would might maybe need to see more, or just be like, no, I'm not interested in, you know, the cloud option, you know, and that's not for everybody. So, just kinda wanna see where you're at, kind of what you're thinking, after seeing, seeing the just a quick demo of what, ConstructConnect take off can do. And then, yeah, feel free to to throw any of the the other feedback in the the questionnaire. Let us know anything else, that, questions that you have. And just wanna share our upcoming sessions that we do. So we do Bid Like a Boss every week, you know, different, different products, each week. And then, we also have, so tomorrow on Thursdays, we do a getting started with construction tech take off. So, if you do, you know, decide to go with CCTO or just just wanna see a little bit more, we have that session on Thursdays. We do our takeoff boost session every Tuesday, project intelligence, and then we also do our plan swift, AI mode. So a lot of different sessions, that you can, join and and take a look at. If you go to the docs tab up at the top of the, Goldcast platform where you see the the chat there, there is a, and I guess I didn't put the, different, sessions in there. I have some different, resources for on screen takeoff and CCTO, but I forgot to put all of the other sessions like in there. I will, go grab that real quick and add it, but that will take you to a page with all of the the, all the the different virtual events that we do. So that way, if you are interested in, any of those other sessions, you can go ahead and, check that out. So I am grabbing that link real quick, and I'm gonna throw that in there. So if you wanna check out any of those other sessions, that we do. And then we do in person classroom training, two full days, per product. So on screen takeoff, two days quick bid. Then we also do our quote soft duct and pipe and then plain swift as well. So just depending on which of our products you have, great option there to to get some, in person, with our trainers. You know, just a a great great way to just go through the, the whole platform, in those two days. And here we go. Just added that link to the docs tab. So if you open that up, that customer events, link, you can go ahead and click on that. That will get you to a page with all the different, sessions that we do and, check any of those out. Alright. Okay. We are right on time. It it has been a while since we ended right at, 02:59, 03:00, Eastern time. So we are, I I guess the the four of us had our timing down down this week. So, but yeah, thank you all. for thank you all for joining. Thank you, Mona, Jessica, Darcy, Darcy, Yeah. covering everything today, helping us out. Just gonna scroll through the chat here and make sure I didn't miss anything. All right, it looks like we are good. So, yeah. Thank you all for joining. Have a good rest of your day. Alright. Thank you.
